Hiring a videographer or photographer is a big deal. They will shape your experience and how you remember the moments of the day.

Which states do you serve?
I will travel to shoots anywhere in Iowa and Illinois.

What is your turnaround time?
Wedding videography films are typically sent within 90 days of the event date, depending on the offering(s) selected. I can give you a more accurate timeline once you're booked!
Lifestyle photography images are typically sent within 21 days of the booking date.

What is the retainer fee?
I require a non-refundable retainer fee to book your date, which means that I will commit that date to serving you and no one else.

For wedding videography packages, your retainer fee will be 33% of your total package price.
​
For photography packages, your retainer fee will be 50% of your total package price.
We'll talk about the payment schedule during our consultation call so that I can answer any questions you have.

How are final files delivered?
I respect your right to privacy, so I will not upload your files to any website or cloud storage provider.

I will send you a flash drive with your files on it. This method allows you complete ownership of your videos and printing rights of your images. More flash drives can be delivered at an additional cost.

Can we order prints through you?
You deserve to choose the quality and price of your prints, so I don't want to lock you into working with one specific vendor. However, I can give you recommendations if needed!

Do you have travel fees?
If traveling to or from the location would require travel between the hours of 12:00 am and 7:00 am, overnight lodging may be required at your expense. Hotel costs will be itemized and billed to you separately from your package.

Can we pick our music for wedding videos?
If you want to choose your own music for your wedding film, please let me know! There are a few considerations we need to keep in mind, and I'm eager to talk with you about our options.

In general, I prefer to select the music that best represents the essence of your wedding day. Royalty fees are included in the cost of your package, and I follow copyright guidelines so that you can share your video online if you choose to do so.

Do you offer drone footage?
At this time, I do not offer drone footage with my wedding videography. I will let you know if that changes!

Why "Amber Vision?"
In addition to Amber being my name, it's also a really beautiful stone that forms from fossilized tree sap, or resin. Naturally-occurring amber has been studied for centuries due to its excellent ability to preserve extinct insects.
In a similar way, I hope to beautifully capture and preserve your memories.
